Nostalgia

I felt extremely nostalgic today, so I decided to Youtube some old kids TV shows. (I love how Youtube has become a verb). Anyway, the likes of 'Playdays' and 'Starhill Ponies' were played. I can honestly say, kids television shows were far superior in the nineties and possibly decades before that too. 

Channels like Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel... I'm getting teary-eyed. Goosebumps, remember that? Man, I loved that show. The dog on the front porch, in the opening sequence terrified me. His eyes would turn an alien shade of yellow. Enough to send me flying behind a sofa; but I enjoyed it. The cartoons as well. Pepper-Ann, Doug! What more could a child ask for? It was like TV heaven, I kid you not.

I cringe, when I catch a glimpse of the poor quality shows children are made to watch. I do feel sorry for them, ha. "Kids, you should have grown up in the nineties. We had Kenan and Kel." It just isn't fair. Can't we bring back some of them? Re-runs?

Anyway, it's the Easter holidays right now, which means plenty of time to do absolutely nothing productive whatsoever. It's not like I don't have things to do, cause I do. Essays. A lot of them. It's just that, well...let's just say I'm being held captive by someone called Procrastination. Yes. It frustrates me no end, that I put everything off till the very last minute. More annoying is the fact that it stresses me out; sitting at the computer, late at night typing the essay up (from scratch) because it's due in the next day. 

When will I ever learn.. Oh crap. One per cent left on the laptop. I've got to wrap this up!
