Overheard

I was in London, on Sunday; doing what a tourist loves. Taking photographs and buying I ♥  London shirts; although the latter did not occur. Anyway, I thought it would be a marvelous idea to visit the Tower of London; I've never been here before, despite the many family members from India who come to England and get taken to London....I've been on the London Eye about fifteen times. I mean COME ON; there's only a number of times one can enjoy the view of London and it's definitely less than twice....

...I digress. I was in London, visiting the Tower of London; admiring the crown jewels; planning a heist; I wanted to get the Koh-i-Noor back; you know, the usual tourist things. As I was checking out the jewels, there were three large screens, displaying the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. We shuffled along slowly into the next room; exhibiting some crown belonging to Queen Victoria; behind me, I heard a female American tourist ask (referring to Queen Victoria) "Isn't she the one that just died?"

I don't even.
Apart from that, the day was lovely. The sun was out.
